Position: Inside Sales (SDR Sales Development Representative)

Job Description: As an Inbound Sales Representative (SDR), you will play a pivotal role in our sales team by effectively managing inbound leads and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for engaging with potential clients through phone calls, emails, and chats, ensuring their inquiries are promptly addressed and their needs are met. The primary goal of this role is to take inbound calls and chats, nurture leads, convert them into valuable customers, and collaborate closely with our Corporate Account Managers (CAM) to maximize sales opportunities. Responsibilities:

  • Multitask and handle inbound inquires through email, phone call, and online
  • Identify customer needs, understand pain points, and effectively articulate the value proposition of our products and services.
  • Respond in a timely and professional manner, showcasing your expertise in industrial automation products.
  • Collaborate closely with the Corperate Account Manager, passing on qualified leads and ensuring a seamless transition in the sales process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
  • Continuously update and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM system. This includes logging chats and phone calls for the CAM to review and proactively reach out to new leads.

More about You:

  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in fundamental computer software such as Excel, Word, and email applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Daily correspondence with customers is a significant aspect of this role. Strong grammar and efficient email composition are essential.
  • Comfortable with modern software tools. If you're wary of spreadsheets or lack confidence in computer usage, this role might not be a good fit.
  • Experience with other order management or ERP software like NetSuite is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred, but we are also open to enthusiastic individuals willing to learn and grow.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with potential customers.
  • Motivated self-starter with a results-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Automation products is a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a consultative sales approach.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and online shopping trends is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (NetSuite preferred) and other sales tools.
